Prompt as Hell with KJ and Budgie #9 – The Universe Box

KJ and I give each other writing prompts each Wednesday, and we have to write a piece based on that prompt, no matter what it is. We are not allowed to reveal the prompts.

This is Prompt as Hell with KJ Marshall and Budgie Bigelow.

Episode 9 – The Universe Box

I woke up on a cold floor. I didn’t even remember falling asleep. I looked around the room. There were no doors or windows, just a floor, ceiling, and four walls.

I got up and walked toward one of the walls, the one in front of me. I felt along it, walking to my right, around the perimeter of the room, searching for the crease of a hidden door. I made it all the way to where I started without finding anything.

I was trapped. Somehow I had found myself in an room with no exit. Then, a voice boomed, reverberating against the walls.

“CHOOSE,” the voice said. A midget appeared next to an end table. The midget wore dark blue overalls and one of those hats with a propeller on it. There was a revolver with one bullet next to him.

A bed appeared next. On it was Rosanne Barr, completely nude except for a Hitler mustache.

“What is this?” I asked, looking from one “choice” to the other.

“You’re in the Universe Box, snowflake,” Rosanne said, answering for the room. “There’s only one way out.”

“You’ll have to shoot me dead,” the midget began.

“Or screw me raw,” Rosanne finished.

“CHOOSE!” the voice boomed.

I had about a million questions. What was a Universe Box? Why was Rosanne naked and horny? Why did the midget have to be so darn cute?!

“Come on and ride, cuck,” Rosanne said breaking my thought cycle. I looked at her, then I looked to the midget. I looked at nude Rosanne one more time before making my decision

“I’m sorry,” I said, putting the single bullet into the revolver and closing the chamber.

“Don’t be,” the midget said, offering a sad smile. “I would’ve made the same choice.”

I wasn’t able to return the smile.
